Hello! I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I study political behavior, democracy, institutions, identity, gender, race, and political methodology in comparative and US contexts. My research and teaching interests touch more specifically on pressing topics such as inequality and representation, as well as their complicated relationship with democratic attitudes and behavior.  Outside of academia, I love basketball, listening to all genres of music, reading fantasy/sci-fi, and answering questions wrong while watching Jeopardy.
